Course description

Discover the world of scuba diving. Try Dives, otherwise known as Discover Scuba Dives, are ideal for people that want to get their feet wet and give scuba diving a go but may not have time for a course. Learn the basics of scuba diving and go to a maximum depth of 12 meters.

Module 1: Online Course

During the online course, you will learn: equalization techniques, how to interact with marine life, equipment, hand signals and how to obtain a scuba certification. The online course is only the theory for the course, when in person, your instructor will also go through the practical part of the course with you.

Module 2: Confined Water Dive

First is a confined water session in a pool or pool-like environment. At the beginning of the experience, as soon as you get in the water, your instructor will guide you through a few basic skills including: equalizing, how to clear a mask and recover a regulator underwater. Then you will have the chance to swim around and see what diving underwater feels like.

Module 3: Open Water Dive

During the dive, your instructor may ask you to hold them by the arm or they may hold you by the tank. The instructor will never be more than an arm’s length from you during the whole dive. They will be responsible for your air consumption and buoyancy so you can focus on enjoying the underwater world around you.
