Course description

Becoming a Divemaster is the first professional step in a diver’s career. Turn your passion for diving into a job. A Divemaster is the dive guide for certified divers. They know the dive sites and marine animals in the area, and are meant to be able to handle any problems that arise during a dive. They are responsible for the dive planning, briefing, rental gear allocation and what goes on above and below the surface.

Module 1: Online Course

The dive theory for the Divemasters program is extensive and includes dive physics, physiology, skills and equipment.

Module 2: In-person Training

The practical components of this course are extensive and there are many water and surface components that must be completed. You will also have to complete an open book exam and a closed book exam.
